MEET THE AUTHOR
I am the proud daughter of Polish immigrant parents, growing up in the now trendy Toronto area of Roncesvalles Village. Cultural and intellectual influences instilled a love of learning – in particular, literature. I have been a daughter, a sister, a wife and mother. I have been a student, a teacher and counsellor; an avid reader for as long as I can remember.
I am someone who forms and values lasting friendships. Someone who feels grateful for every sunrise and sunset. I have been forever in awe of what creative energy allows to unfold – in art, in nature, in science – and the degree to which it impacts the quality and character of life. I have always been passionate about writing poetry. So, at long last I have sat down to gather the multiple images and influences of a lifetime lived so far, and written a book of poetry.
